All the feelings...

Right now I'm feeling all the feelings - nervousness, excitement, cautiously optimistic, etc.

Sure, I've contemplated formalizing my card making into a business before but a month ago a random conversation at the local bar after work turned into action. Less than twenty days ago I put things in motion and established My Fun Day Crafts LLC. I purchased a domain and started to set up the website. I learned about legal templates, sales tax, website requirements and accessibility. I explored colors and layouts. I loaded in inventory and started to adjust, tweak and finalize things. I consulted different people for feedback, made more tweaks and finalized tough decisions on pricing and shipping.

I'll continue to gather feedback and learn along the way but I'm excited to make cards and have a place to share the full inventory. Crafting has always been a way to disconnect from my "9-5" and do something creative. And, like many crafters, I have a plethora of options in my craft room! And that means there is no shortage of options for future card making.

Speaking of card making, I'm off to make more cards!
